I attended a workshop the past two days at university, to do with the hidden sonic qualities of objects from our everyday world.
In this two day workshop it entailed combining the arts of electronics and noise.
The basic elements of this workshop are a wooden box, a speaker, a small audio amplifier, some distortion and a contact microphone. To this, the brave box-builders added their own found objects, graphics, images, memories and ideas to create a unique electroacoustic cabinet of curiosities.
My sound box works but it isn’t decorated to how I would like it to look I would like to maybe paint it in the style of Jackson Pollock just to give it a different look. But it works perfectly,
This is a very rough video of how my sound box works, Initially I would like to discover sounds that I can use for my animation/project,
Because I cant find a lot of royalty free music or sounds,
but this gives me a chance to make my own in a different way/method. And can be something I can add to my creative arsenal.
